And though it is widely known for not paying well, I continued to have enough money to enjoy life. Many times hostels will pay way more than the official faculties will pay. I had to do lesson plans and grade, they walked round the hotel and practiced talking English with the hotel employees.
Though I had a blast teaching at the school, I am in possession of a feeling they’d more fun. Exploit knowing English and teach around the globe, but do bother to get the TEFL course. Although I had taught Spanish in Hawaii, I learned much more from the TEFL course on teaching a foreign language than any of the education courses I had taken in the US. Being a local English spokesman isn’t really enough to coach English as a foreign language. The TEFL course is essential if you need to keep your job and make a survivable living.
